What are the books about?
The books are set in worlds that are new but recognisable.
They aren't really dystopias, nor are they hard science fiction.
They could be described as fantasy - but there aren't any dragons, or magic, or swords.
They are about power and control, and about lies and deceit.
They are about secrets and betrayals, and about freedoms and restrictions.
The characters have issues and face dilemmas - some will be familiar, and some won't.
So the books are really about people...
