Eve Moran is a pseudonym
In her other existence, Eve has worked as an English lecturer and a motorsport journalist. She has also been involved in developing a series of interactive children’s books.
In the past, Eve studied dystopian literature, and this remains one of her key interests. Particular favourites in this genre are We by Yevgeny Zamyatin and 1984 by George Orwell.
Eve enjoys reading fantasy novels, but they must have their roots in reality. It's the character development that really interests her and draws her into the story. She prefers flawed characters to the archetypal hero or heroine. Her favourite authors in this genre are Neil Gaiman and Naomi Novik.
Eve has some books that will always be special to her. Out of the classics, she loves Bronte's Wuthering Heights and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. She also adores Harper Lee's To Kill a Mocking Bird and Capote's In Cold Blood. Her favourite authors include Chevy Stevens, Alice Sebold, Hugh Howey, Mo Hayder, Maria Snyder, John Saul, and Margaret Atwood.
